Love Letter is a sensory experiential concept studio founded by Sutian Dong and Michele Yue on Valentine’s Day 2024. Rooted in New York City, we create immersive, introspective environments that use writing as a portal—guiding guests into deeper self-connection, emotional release, and the reclamation of personal mythology.

Our inaugural pop-up, NYC001, debuted in November 2024 inside a hidden loft tucked within a secret alleyway in Nolita. Guests were led through a ritual of tea, reflection, and quietude—no phones, no photos, just presence. This offering set the tone for what Love Letter would become: a sanctuary for slowness, sincerity, and inward exploration.

One of our signature offerings, the aura experience, invites guests to witness their energy translated into color, then create meaning from it through guided writing. Every detail—from our prompts to our lighting—is designed to slow time, awaken the senses, and bring people into communion with their inner world.

Opening in June 2025, our first permanent home at 138 Eldridge Street becomes more than just a studio—it evolves into a creative hub for emerging NYC-based talent. From custom lighting and sound design to functional art and furniture, Love Letter showcases work from local artists and makers whose craftsmanship supports and enhances the sensory and emotional depth of each experience.
